Details are a great way to make an otherwise-oridinary look something a little special.
I've had this Lilly Pulitzer blazer for almost ten years now, and I'm still not tired of it. The preppy elbow patches and the flash of hot pink lining are thoughtful details that make this outfit feel extra-polished. Paired along with the sweater, which offers the same flash of pink with the frames on the fox, classic layering instantly becomes more playful.
I then thought it'd be fun to match the sweet pink specs on the fox with a pair my own. (Though, I must admit, I don't look half as sassy as that fox does!)
I found these frames at Rivet & Sway, an awesome company that sends you three pairs (of your choosing) to try before you buy. The reason I loved the service so much is because you can plug in your current frame measurements, face shape, and a few other details, and get recommendations of which styles will work best for you. And, if you don't know your face shape, they'll even figure that out for you too! It's about as painless a process as you could ever hope for picking frames, and I'd go so far as to say it was fun too!
I love that the exterior color of the frames is subdued enough for the office, but the interior uses a brighter color for a fun pop of personality. Details below include the style of frames I'm sporting AND a promo code for you to try them out.
